The Armata Bianca has always been closely united with the Holy Father and the Ecclesiastic Authorities. Together with John Paul II it experienced the marvellous events of the last part of the 20th century and the beginning of the third millennium:The Armata Bianca is an Ecclesiastic Movement of Laity which is accepted – besides Msgr. Peressin the Archbishop of Aquila who has .guided its steps for 15 years – by many Bishops and Cardinals in various parts of the world. In some Dioceses it has received canonical recognition as a private and public Association of the faithful.
